Links Arizona Wrecks- Follow the Baird brothers as they visit crashes in the state. FATAL ARMY AIR FORCES AVIATION ACCIDENTS IN THE UNITED STATES 1941 - 1945- Tony Mireles has written a three volume set of books that are a must for any wreckchaser. His well laid out book documents all fatal crashes from 1941-1945, and has many indexes to help in identifying crashes. AAIR: Visit Craig Fuller's excellent site and see crashes in the U.S. and Europe. Be sure to check out his weekend wreckchasing trips, as well as the resources available on his site. Order your military crash reports from him as well. Pat Macha: Pat has been visiting crash sites in California since the 1960's and has a great website documenting some of his finds. Take note of his History Channel documentary as well as his book he and Don Jordan have written, Aircraft Wrecks in the Mountains and Deserts of California. Don Jordan: Don Jordan teamed up with G. Pat Macha to write Aircraft Wrecks in the Mountains and Deserts of California. Don has an excellent site and has documented many crashes in California. Lost Birds: Doug Scroggins' site on wreckchasing military aircraft and airliners. Well worth a visit. Oklahoma Wreckchasing: Jeff Wilkinson's website on historic aircraft mishaps in the Southern Plains. Napier 28 Homepage: During World War II, a military cargo plane disintegrated in flight near a line of violent thunderstorms in northern Nebraska, a few miles Southwest of a town called Napier. There were 28 fatalities representing the crew and all passengers. This web page is dedicated to this accident. Texas Wreckchasing: Bryan Tobias' website on wreckchasing in Texas. Good info on military and civilian crashes. Aviation Archaeology in Maine: Peter Noddin's great site on wreckchasing in Maine.
